Communion Services
Communion services form the mainstay of our regular pattern of worship, and are based on the orders of service in Common Worship.
Most of the 10:00am communion services have the words projected onto a screen, making them very easy to follow, with booklets also available. We include a mixture of traditional hymns and more modern worship songs.
The Said communion services (8.30am on some Sundays, and 10.30am every Wednesday) use traditional language from a service book, and include a short sermon, but no hymns.
All Ages Together Services
These are informal services of worship for all ages to worship together. They usually take the form of Cafe church, starting with refreshments and time to chat and take part in crafts and activities. This is followed by a short service and sometimes includes a baptism. The projector and screen are used for these services.
Messy Church
Messy Church is Church for all ages, from babies and toddlers, to grandparents and everyone in between! We learn about God and being a follower of Jesus. We often meet in St Mary's between 4pm and 5.30pm on the last Sunday of the month (dates do vary during school holidays, Christmas and Easter......so please check first!)
Each session has a theme which we explore through crafts and activities, songs and prayers. And we always end by sitting down and eating a meal together.
