Members' Consent Form

Dear Church Member,

We want to communicate with church members in a way which has their consent, and which is in line with UK law on data protection.  As a result of a change in UK law, we now need to ask your consent about how we contact you, even though we already have your details and have contacted you many times before.

Under the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), both the Vicar and the PCC are ‘data controllers’, ie they are the legal entities who hold your data. We need to hold and process your data to complete any legal or organisational requirements relating to your church membership. We would also like to keep you informed about news and events; to share relevant details with other church members when needed for pastoral or practical reasons and, if you take on any leadership role, to include your contact details in church publications. GDPR requires that we ask your consent to do that. We will not share your details with any other body without your express permission.

You can find out more about how we use your data by reading our Privacy Policy, which is available here or in church or from the Church Administrator.

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time by contacting the Church Administrator

Please complete your details and type 'Yes' in the boxes below to signify your consent.
