FOR YOUR PRAYERS:
- The Wise Men travelling from the East, from beyond the boundaries of Palestine, speak of Christ’s mission to all. We pray for God’s world, that all may be drawn to his light. Especially we pray for all missionaries and mission organisations – remembering Peter & Alison Roots in Tanzania.
- The Wise Men travelled in faith, not knowing their destination. At the start of a new year, may we, with God, travel in faith wherever he leads.
- The Wise Men brought costly gifts for the one to whom they would bow down and worship. May we give generously of our treasures for Christ the King.
- As a new year begins – for all God’s guiding in the past, we give thanks; for the present we seek his help and strength; and for the future we put our hand in his, in hope and trust.
- in the Deanery: Fulbourn Group, & for all childrens / youth workers.
- for this parish: for those living in Priory Close, Silver Street (Burwell), Great Lane (Reach).
- for those in special need: Grace Bruce, Jean Pratt, Stephen Thacker (& family), Chloe Saunders, Irene Plumb, Pat & David Leah, Vera & Len Lawrance, Anne Cooke (nee Griffiths), Annie Guest (Mark Hassall's mother-in-law), Ann Fuller, Renee Haslam, Vera Baker (Bella Swann’s Great Grandmother).
- For the bereaved including the friends and family of
Myra Harwood and those remembering anniversaries of death at this time.
