The Nomination Book for elections is at the back of St. Mary’s; there is one regular PCC vacancy & one place to be filled for the role of Deanery Synod representative (who automatically becomes a PCC member), in addition a churchwarden’s vacancy arises (already one nomination) which could also precipitate an assistant c/w’s vacancy (again, already one nomination)... the book makes this clear! All nominees must be on the church electoral roll (now closed for new applicants) until after the APCM following due notice. * MOTHERING SUNDAY. Make a MOTHERS' DAY by purchasing an ethical gift for your mother or in memory of your mother this year. In return you or your mother get a gift card form the Mothers' Union. Pick up a leaflet in church or contact Susan on 741791. * MOTHERING SUNDAY (14/3) this year will be a Family Service (instead of 7/3) at 9.30am. * COFFEE MORNING to prepare posies for Mothering Sunday in the Guildhall on Saturday March 13th at 10.30am. Please do come along if you can help. * SHOEBOX FOCUS MONTH. Once again we are asking you to pop in a few extra toiletries when you shop, especially flannels and toothpaste.
