FOR YOUR PRAYERS:

-   We give thanks for all who this week have worked to give others a chance of life, who have given so that others can have hope, who have raised their voices, so others’ children can live, who have prayed that God’s kingdom will come.  (Prayer of a collector)

-  for those who will be leading us in government and representing us in Parliament following the General Election – that they may exercise their responsibilities wisely and diligently for the good of all.

-  designated as ‘Communications Sunday’, we pray especially for all involved in communicating the Christian faith by teaching, preaching, writing, broadcasting and all forms of outreach to those of all ages.

-  for Alfie baptised this morning, that he may grow up to know, love & serve the Lord Jesus.

- in the Deanery: Fen Ditton, Teversham & Horningsea.

 * More help is urgently needed on the CLEANING ROTA as two people have had to drop out because of other commitments. If you could spare an hour or two every month, please see Pat Chalmers a.s.a.p..

*  Most people will have heard the news that Stephen will be leaving us to take up a new post as Priest in Charge of Lavenham with Preston in Suffolk. Stephen and Abi's last Sunday with us will be July 25th and his Licensing in Lavenham will be Thursday 9th September at 7.30pm. Please put the dates in your diary now and keep Stephen and Abi in your prayers as they prepare to start this new phase of their life. More details about our farewells will follow later.

*  A reminder to please leave PARKING on the church drive for people with mobility difficulties.  Parking must be on the right-hand side, leaving space at the entrance to the church for attendance of emergency vehicles and dropping off people with mobility problems.
