FOR YOUR PRAYERS:
- Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday mark the start
of the season of Lent; may we enter the desert with
Christ as we seek to grow in the disciplines of prayer and
penance in our preparation for the joy of Easter. Pray
for all special Lenten services and meetings and our
spiritual exercises.
- for the leaders of the European nations, as they seek
to deal with the financial crisis, that they may always
keep in mind those who are poorest & most vulnerable.
- for the freedom of all religions in our lands: that they
might be free to honour their beliefs and practices in
peace and without protest.
- for this parish: for those living in Swaffham Road,
Heath Road (Burwell), Burwell Road (Reach).
- for those in special need: Chloe Saunders, Jean
