Mary’s, Sat 25 Feb @ 7.30pm. Tickets £8 in advance
or £10 on door (Students & OAPs £5, children under

Office or Tina’s. The return of a very popular event!!
* CENTREPEACE urgently needs 2 or 3 more people to
call on at short notice to cover a shift when someone is
ill. You wouldn't need to make a regular commitment
and could refuse if it wasn't convenient! Please call Pat
(742006) if you can help.
* If you are thinking about CONFIRMATION, or just
want to find out more without committing yourself
two groups are meeting in Lent. Speak to Eleanor to
find out more.
* On Sunday 19th February at 10am there will be an all
age communion service where we will learn together
about Holy Communion, leading on to a course to
prepare children for receiving communion before
confirmation. If your child is aged 7 or over, and you think
they are ready for this please speak to Eleanor or Anna
Hopper.
* BUILDING TO SERVE – please collect TWO leaflets
and bring back your comments on response slips!
* We’re collecting new recipes for the CentrePeace
COOK BOOK Volume 2 to be produced to celebrate
the Queens Jubilee and the Olympics next year. Please

or hand written copies can be handed in to CentrePeace
* My next venture for raising money for Dementia UK
is a HEAD SHAVE! I have set a target of £3000. I have

* THE BIG BREW, 11am – 1pm, Friday 2 March, 11
Felsham Chase, Burwell. Traidcraft Coffee Morning to
celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight. Fairtrade coffee and cake
and goods for sale. All welcome.
* We expect the BOILER WORK at St. Mary’s to be
started soon and while it is in progress, all Sunday
services will be transferred to Reach. Lifts can be
arranged. Midweek services and other activities will be in
St Mary's as usual. Details will be posted on the church
door as soon as we have them.

- the Diocesan Finance Committee which meets on
Thursday, its Investment Committee and the decisions
to be made in the grave financial and economic climate;
pray for the many people in the Diocese who face
serious financial problems with loss of employment
and homes and those responsible for dealing with their
situations.
- for those who are suffering in the winter weather; for
those who have to travel, those who are homeless, and
those who cannot afford to heat their homes: that they
may be kept safe and protected during this time
- for the people of Syria, in the face of the violence and
oppression in their land: that the violence may be ended,
and a way may be found to a lasting and just peace.
