Junior church

Junior church meets every Sunday (except the first Sunday of the month) morning during term time for Godly Play stories.  The children then come into church for the second part of the service. Children aged 3-11 are very welcome.

Here is Anna's report for 2010

 It has been another busy year with lots of activities as well as the usual Sunday morning meetings. In May a small group of children attended the praise party at Ely Cathedral. This is a lively worship and praise event aimed at the under elevens, all those who went had a fantastic time and we are hoping to take a bigger group this year. It has been great to see the children really growing in their faith and relationship with God; this was particularly shown in our discussions of what gift they would present to Jesus at Epiphany. The answers ranged from the usual gold, a stair lift (he must be very old now, was the comment attached to this one) to their love. We have another busy schedule planned for the coming year which we have already made a start on, exploring their favourite Bible stories in conjunction with the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible.

If anyone would like to join us in this journey as our children grow, even if just now and again, please do get in touch. It can be tiring working with our children, but it is also one of the most humbling and uplifting things I have ever been involved in.
