FOR YOUR PRAYERS:
- On this Christmas Day, may our celebrations bring joy
to all around us, glory to God and peace with goodwill on
earth.
- for all who come to church, here and elsewhere, at
this special time, that all may be touched by the light and
love of Christ, and the wonder of the events we recall.
- for all who find this time of festivity difficult, highlighting
anxieties and feelings of aloneness. And for those away
from their homes and loved ones.
- for all the leaders of the world; may God watch over
all nations and may peace be chosen over hatred, truth
prevail over distortion and love prove greater than all.
- for all who are suffering as a result of financial crisis;
give them strength and succour, and help us all to
recognise the abundance God continues to give us.
- for this parish: for those living in Summerfield Close,
St. Mary’s View (Burwell), Burwell Road (Reach).
- for those in special need: Chloe Saunders, Jean
Fearn, Ken Withers, James Rae, Ray Elwood, Gina
Bell, Raymond Ross, Zoe Rolph, Terry Sharplin, Claude
Parr, Jo Debenham, Ken Stoneley, Alastair Grant, Noel
Tweddle
- For the bereaved and those remembering
anniversaries of death at this time.
