* NEWCOMERS TEA – 4 – 5.30 pm Saturday 29th
October in the Guildhall. If you have joined the church in
the last few months come and have a cup of tea and a
chat - let Eleanor know today if you’re coming. We
will finish in plenty of time for you to get to the Quiz
Night!
* On behalf of Paul Hawes and the War Memorial
committee, thank you to everyone who helped with the
Service of Dedication for the War Memorial Boards last
week, and with the refreshments afterwards. Your efforts
were very much appreciated by all who attended.
* ST. MARY’S QUIZ NIGHT. NEXT SATURDAY 29th
Oct, 7pm for 7.30pm, . At the Day Centre. £8 per head
incl. fish & chip supper (bring your own alcohol). Tickets
from Ken Hurrell, Post Office or CentrePeace.
* SERVICE OF REMEMBERING - Sunday 6th Nov 3pm
- a service for All Souls day - to remember & give thanks
for loved ones who have died, whether recently or some
time ago. To be followed by refreshments. If anyone
could help with tea please speak to Sue Evans.
* SHOEBOX PACKING COFFEE MORNING, Saturday
Nov 5th. Toothpaste, Soap and flannels or sponges still

the various ROTAS to save panic when the listed people
do not turn up on Sunday morning.

At Burwell, do stay for coffee & refreshments afterwards at
the back of the church, and please make yourself known to
us. Children are welcome at all our services, and if needed
there are books and soft toys, and a room to retreat to, at the
back of the church.

(Our Clergy, reader & Pastoral Team are always
happy to make pastoral visits or arrange for Home
Communions where this would be helpful.)
