FOR YOUR PRAYERS:
- that during Advent, we may find time to focus
prayerfully & quietly on the coming of Jesus: what this
means for the world and for us all – “O Come to my
heart, Lord Jesus, there is room in my heart for thee”.
- for all who will come to the Christingle Service this
afternoon, that the hearts of everyone, young and old,
will be touched by the light and love of the Lord Jesus.
- for all those affected by the winter weather: may those
who have to travel be kept safe, and may those who are
vulnerable and struggle to keep warm be given the help
they need.
- in the Deanery, Soham & Wicken and for Deanery
Secretary Alison Evans.
- for those in special need: Jean Pratt, Chloe Saunders,
Vera Baker, Jean Fearn, Arthur Bartram, James Rae,
Raymond Ross, Alastair Grant, Zoe Rolph, Sue Evans.
- For the bereaved including the friends and family of
Jack Johnson, Shirley Lewis and those remembering
anniversaries of death at this time.
