- that during Advent, we may find time to focus prayerfully & quietly on the coming of Jesus: what this means for the world and for us all – “O Come to my heart, Lord Jesus, there is room in my heart for thee”.

- for all who will come to the Christingle Service next Sunday that the hearts of everyone, young and old, will be touched by the light and love of the Lord Jesus.

- God our Father, we thank you for ministry in our parish over many years; for faithful laity and clergy alike. At this time we pray for our parish - for churchwardens, PCC, all who worship week by week and the wider community.

- for the miners killed in the pit explosion in New Zealand: may they rest in peace, and may their families be comforted.

- for this parish: for those living in Bloomsfield, Green Lane (Burwell), Ditchfield (Reach).
