FOR YOUR PRAYERS:
- for Ralph and Noah baptised this morning that they
may grow up to know, love and serve the Lord Jesus
and find in him their Friend and Saviour; and also for
parents and godparents in their important role of support
and nurture in the Christian faith.
- God our Father, we thank you for ministry in our parish
over many years; for faithful laity and clergy alike. At this
time we pray for our parish - for churchwardens, PCC,
all who worship week by week and the wider community.
- we pray in particular this week for the Youth Team
preparing for a Light Party on October 31st providing a
suitable alternative to Halloween.
- We pray for all those who have lost their lives working
to bring peace and justice in Afghanistan: may they rest
in peace, and may a just and lasting solution be found to
the conflict.
- in the Deanery: Burwell & Reach, & for our Rural Dean, Tim
Alban-Jones
- for this parish: for those living in Ness Road, New
Road (Burwell), Chapel Lane (Reach).
- for those in special need: Jean Pratt, Chloe Saunders,
