Also for the Diocesan Finance Committee as it faces the challenges & difficulties of the present economic climate. - for the observance of a Holy and Spirit-filled Lent, that we may more & more be ‘transfigured’ into the likeness of Christ in our attitudes, words and deeds. - thanksgiving for those newly enrolled into the Mothers’ Union, and for its work & fellowship in this parish, deanery & diocese & throughout the world. * Nathan Shipley (Baptist Church Youth Worker) and I are starting up YOUTH ALPHA & the introductory meal is on Wed 24 Feb at Pizza Express. It will then be held for 10 more weeks at the Baptist Church every Wed 6-8pm. Are there any willing volunteers able to cater for 20 or more for one of those weeks? Once again we are asking you to pop in a few extra toiletries when you shop, especially flannels and toothpaste. We will use them at our coffee-morning and items can be left for me in CentrePeace.
